Please be advised that Medway Council will be holding an Election to fill the post of ‘Parish Councillor’, following to the resignation of Stacey Larkin.
Any completed nomination papers will need to be delivered by hand to the Deputy Returning Officer, Jane Ringham, in the reception area of Gun Wharf (Dock Road, Chatham, ME4 4TR) between 9am and 6pm on any day after Friday 16 August 2024, (excluding bank holidays and weekends) but not later than 4pm on 30 August 2024.
If this election is uncontested, the applicant who has applied will automatically be elected onto the Parish Council. If more than one (1) applicant applies however, then a poll will take place on Thursday 26 September 2024.
